Walking the northern section of the GR92 distance trail in eastern Spain.  Rugged and wooded  coastal paths dip into small coves for a swim. We are walking with the scent of pine trees, the trail winding inland  thru small villages of tight packed stone houses.  Stopping for a meal of rice and seafood and then walking thru farm land, rice paddies , olive groves, and roads lined with trees of bursting pomegranate fruit.   Our packs are light with a spare t-shirt and underwear, sun cream, water and sandals .  A simple routine ,each night we wash some clothes and leave them to dry while we head out to find tapas and wine.   Baguette, queso, and jambon purchased early and placed in a handy pouch in Janes rucksack served as lunch  in quiet pebbly bays.  Finally the trip ends with a last swim in the bay  the in the sleepy border town of PortBou before jumping on the train for one last Tapas fest in Barcelona.

A TRIPTOMANIAC has a mental disorder that compels them to travel. Unlike a normal traveller, who will journey because they want or need to, a triptomaniac does it for the sheer fun and thrill.
