Getting There

From either Valdez or Seward ferry arrival, but better from Seward. Both Seward and Sterling highways provide scenic driving with good boon docking opportunities.   

POSSIBILITIES

1 - KENAI FJORD

Options to visit the fjord by boat or paddle.  Glacier access to ice fields, on Hardng ice field trail with view on exit glacier. 

2 - Sterling highway to Homer

Skilak lake road says good camping, canoe trip on Swan Lake with rentals from Alaska canoe and campground tel :262-2331.  Interesting old town at Kenais, and razor clams on beach at clam gulch. 

3 - Homer 

Kachomak bay state park, fjord, glaciers and bays.
